An update to the last post discussing my level 4 course application, I have since had my meeting with mike the course leader and former tutor and I have been given a conditional offer which I will be accepted in the next couple of days. The offer requires that I achieve merit on this current course which I feel I can achieve and am working towards getting a distinction.
I liked the look of the course on the website but when mike explained it more too me I like it now, even more, its exactly what I wanted to do and will allow me to continue to specialize and grow.
Also talking with mike, I assumed there would be loads technicians in the industry’s and not much opening which is really what I want to do but mike said there is a need for new techs in several areas since most of the film and tv industry works with a ton of technology.
